We craft podcasts.

Drawing on decades of experience, we are masters of the art of storytelling. From initial planning to recording, editing and delivery, we take care of it all.

Mick has been a storyteller for as long as he can remember. He started his working life in television, moved into film and has now found a cosy home in podcasting. He loves the intimacy of a story told straight into your ears with its unique ability to light up the imagination. He has been crafting stories for over 25 years and has learned a good few tricks along the way. He loves nothing more than taking an audience on a journey that captures both their hearts and minds. He has won awards for his podcasts and films and loves applying his craft to deliver excellence.

Lara knows her way around a story. She currently moonlights between podcasting and filmmaking, but we’ll win her over eventually. She has a gift for using digital tools to bring a narrative to life. She recently worked as assistant sound designer on The Fall of the House of Du Val for Business Desk. She got hooked on storytelling when directing her award-winning short film, Sticky Pages. Lara first crossed paths with The Podsmiths as a student, when Mick was an industry mentor on the content creation course at Crescendo Aotearoa.
